Vision
Next year, we will celebrate the 250th birthday of the greatest country on earth. Next November, Americans will choose what we want our next 250 years to look like. I am running for Congress because I believe America needs to look less like the failed policies of California and New York and more like its Heartland.
In Congress, I will fight to Restore America, Grow America, Secure America, and Renew America for your great-grandchildren and for mine.

Restore America
America’s national debt has increased from $3 trillion in the 1990s to $37 trillion today. Last year, for the first time in history, America spent more on the interest payment on our debt ($1 trillion) than we did on our national defense ($850 billion).
Out of control spending is bankrupting America’s future, jeopardizing our national security, risking the longevity of key programs like Social Security and Medicare, and, worst of all, forcing our great-grandchildren to foot the bill with higher taxes and crippling interest rates.
On the Omaha City Council, I have balanced Omaha’s budget every single year – without sacrificing essential services our residents rely on.
In Congress, I will fight to grow our economy and eliminate wasteful spending to increase revenues and reduce our deficit.
Grow America
For too long, Washington politicians have abused the American taxpayer, forgotten the American worker, abandoned critical industries and supply chains, and relied on foreign energy to fuel our economy.
As a business leader, Chief of Staff to Mayor Hal Daub, and as an Omaha City Councilman, I have developed public-private partnerships to grow Omaha’s economy from the Missouri River to the Elkhorn River.
We have lowered the property tax levy, created jobs, and transformed Omaha into the #1 City to Move to in America (Forbes) and the hottest housing market in America (US News & World Report).
In Congress, I will fight to cut your taxes, bring down gas & grocery prices, lower interest rates, create good-paying jobs, repatriate critical supply chains from our competitors like China, and expand American energy production to reduce our dependence on foreign countries.
Secure America
Under the Biden Administration, America suffered under weak leadership that made us less safe.
Biden’s open borders allowed 10.3 million illegal immigrants to cross our borders, 5x the population of Nebraska. 2 million of those illegal immigrants, the population of Nebraska, evaded Border Patrol–we don’t know who they are, where they came from, or where they are now.
In Afghanistan, a feckless and tragic withdrawal saw us lose 13 American servicemembers, including Nebraska’s own 23-year-old Corporal Daegan Page.
This weakness gave way to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, an unprecedented assault on our ally Israel by Iran and its proxies, and China licking its chops to invade Taiwan.
Across urban America, we see a 40% increase in violent crime threatening the safety of our communities and ruining our once-iconic cities like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, and our nation’s very capital in Washington, D.C.
In Omaha, we didn’t defund the police. We gave our heroes the record pay raise they deserve. As a result, we have driven Omaha’s violent crime rate to 40-year lows. And our streets and neighborhoods are safe, clean, and business-friendly.
In Congress, I will fight to keep our border secure, deport criminal illegal immigrants, rebuild our military to restore peace through strength, hold criminals accountable, and stand with law enforcement to keep our communities safe.
Renew America
As we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday next year, we must renew the promise of America for our next 250 years.
The promise that if you work hard, follow the law, and treat people right, the American Dream of a good-paying job, homeownership, safety, and a better future for your children and grandchildren is attainable.
A 2023 Wall Street Journal poll found that 78% of Americans don’t believe their children’s generation will be better off. We must renew our hope for America's future.
In Congress, I will fight to restore, grow, and secure America – to make our country more like its Heartland. If we do that, we will renew our nation’s promise and make our next 250 years a new Golden Age for America.
